A popular fundraiser is back on Sunday for the Make-A-Wish Foundation that involves a sledge hammer and a car! And speaking of cars, there’s a Cruise-in and Hog Roast fundraiser at Fort Harrison State Park too, but if you’re not ready to get out just yet…there’s still plenty of events online, i.e. “Meet Me on Main”!
10am/FRI – Hosted by ONCE UPON A PARTY – Each week, “Once Upon A Party” offers activities you can do from home. You’ll receive everything you need to complete each of the 3 weekly activities, once you sign up.
1pm/FRI – Hosted by Kaleidoscope of Art Studio – It’s all about paper! Paper relief sculptures, shadow boxes, collages and cut paper illustrations.
7:30pm/FRIDAY – “Helping you defeat boredom through live online interactive Improv!” The performers will be interacting with you on the Zoom platform and suitable for all ages.
9pm/FRIDAY – MAIN ST. NOBLESVILLE – Creating a safe & social distancing environment while bringing the community together. Movies are scheduled every Friday!
5pm/SAT – Carmel Arts & Design FB Page, YouTube & Carmel TV – Fun begins with a virtual sculpture unveiling at the Carmel Clay Historical Society. Virtual entertainment and artists complete the evening. Watch to win a $100 gift certificate!
10am/SUN – Presented by the ON YOUR FEET FOUNDATION – Birth mothers & families are invited to join in a Virtual Community Art Day. Art Kits $25-$70. Guided by Art Therapist Kristi Gmutza.
11am/SUN – MY CAR DOC CAR CARE CLINIC – Delicious food, good times and you get to SMASH A CAR! All donations go to the local chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Noon/SUN – Fort Harrison State Park – Hosted by TWISTED FOUNDATION – Raising money for back to school supplies for local kids in need. Come park your classic car, grab some food, race some Hot Wheels and bid on some cool art!
Noon/SUN – Ellenberger Park – Restricted to vendors selling food staples, and prepackaged food from commercial kitchens. No eating or pets allowed. You will not be allowed in the market without wearing a mask.
Anytime – The IRT at HOME program is designed to inspire creativity & imagination for all ages! Download acting, storytelling, and design activities for the whole family.
Thru June 30 – Complete the 2020 Indy Mini, 5K from anywhere, at any time! Just sign up HERE, then pick the date/time that you want to run, walk or wheel your race distance. Your medal will be shipped to your door once you’ve completed your challenge.
