BLOOMINGTON, Ind.–A man wanted in a fatal shooting in Bloomington has a warrant out for his arrest.
The Bloomington Police Department says they are looking for De Juan Lamar Kelley. He is wanted on charges of murder and carrying a handgun without a license. They believe Kelley shot and killed a man at a Circle S gas station just after 2 am Sunday.
When police got to the gas station, they say they found a man in the passenger seat of a car with a gunshot wound to his neck. Officers say they rushed him to a hospital and tried to save his life, but he died at the hospital. They’ve identified the man who died as Michael T. Parker, 39, of Bloomington.
Kelley is a black man who has a beard. If you have any information regarding his whereabouts, you should contact Detective Jeff Rodgers at 812-339-4477.
Kelley is considered armed and dangerous.
