INDIANAPOLIS — One person is in the hospital with critical injuries after being shot on the city’s east side Saturday morning.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was called to the 3800 block of North Post Road just after 3 a.m. Saturday on reports of a person shot. When officers arrived at the scene, they found one person suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital. Details about the suspect or motives behind the shooting are not yet available.
Aggravated Assault detectives are investigating the case.
