Tony Katz is in studio. Hammer chats with Tony about a variety of issues. Starting off with the controversy at the border right now; how will the issue of separating immigrant families affect the polls for the upcoming midterm elections?
“I don’t think it plays to the extent that tax cuts plays, or which party is going to keep the party safer… Tariffs have more of an impact in Indiana than anything having to do with the insanity at the border.”
Tony discusses if Trump is winning or losing the PR battle right now in terms of immigration.
“I don’t think so. I think the left has overplayed their hand. If the left would have shown themselves as proactive and stepped up to do something; instead they said concentration camps and Nazis. They could have taken a road that would have helped them in the midterms, but instead they are fundraising off of it.”
