Local Film Producer Amy Pauszek, and Film Director Paul Nethercott, wanted to tell the story of Dr. Jenni Berebitsky’s jourhey living with ALS. So they decided to film a documentary that will premier at Heartland Film Festival’s Inaugural “Indy Shorts International Film Festival, July 26-29th. It’s Titled “GRATEFUL – THE JENNI BEREBITSKY STORY” and you can help get the film to the Heartland Film Festival by simply buying a ticket to see the film. Amy, Paul and Jenni’s mom Joyce, stopped by our studio to talk about Jenni’s diagnosis in 2009 and her incredible optimism, humor and love of life! Jenni’s book is titled “ALS SAVED MY LIFE until it didn’t”.
