A St. Louis mom is making a federal case over the fact that her son didn’t make the high school soccer team… Literally.

Here’s the way it breaks down:

Momma’s little darling can’t play soccer worth a crap, and as a result, junior didn’t make his high school’s team. The problem, however, stems from the fact that soccer mom’s pride and joy DID make the team last year.

Well, now mom is pissed and claims in suit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri that the coach’s decision discriminates against her child.

“[John] was right on the bubble of making the team this year and has some impressive attributes,” soccer coach Dave Aronberg told the family in an email. “However, there were a few holes in his game including technical ability and game decision making that put him behind a number of kids.”

Translation: “John didn’t make the team because he’s not a skilled player. Now quit coddling him and being so overbearing and protective or you’ll turn him gay too!”

WIBC hosts Hammer and Nigel discussed the case in today’s edition of “Is This Anything?”
