Indiana Senator Todd Young joined WIBC host Tony Katz in-studio Monday morning. Tony and Sen. Young discussed a broad range of topics, including Young’s hard position on the murder of Jamal Khashoggi, the migrant caravan, Young’s legislation to remove barriers to private employers providing retirement plans to their employees, and the upcoming mid-term elections.

On Jamal Khashoggi’s murder and U.S. relations with Saudi Arabia:

“I don’t believe that going through with the arms deal is appropriate. We could have sent a message to Saudi Arabia many months ago that they need to obey international human rights law.

…”I think this is a much bigger issue. The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia is impulsive; he’s reckless; and we need to send a message to Saudi Arabia.”
