INDIANAPOLIS–A man was shot and killed on the east side of Indianapolis early Tuesday morning.
IMPD says it happened just after 12:30 in the 500 block of N. Rural Street between Michigan and 10th streets.
They say there was a domestic dispute where a pregnant woman was punched in the stomach by a man and that man ran from the home.
When officers started searching for that man, they heard gunshots and returned to the area to find another man with at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital where he died.
Investigators are looking for the shooter. They don’t know if the two incidents are related.
The pregnant woman’s condition is not known.
