INDIANAPOLIS— The city of Indianapolis on Thursday released road closure details ahead of President Donald Trump’s Friday rally on the south side.
Expect closures between the Indianapolis International Airport and Southport High School from 6-9 p.m. Friday. During the rally at Southport High School, Shelby Street from Banta Road to Southport Drive will be closed, as well as Banta Road from Shelby Street to Camden Street.
The streets surrounding the J.W. Marriott Indianapolis are expected to be closed beginning at 6 p.m. Friday and continuing until 10:45 a.m. Saturday. Those closures will include South West Street from Washington to Maryland streets; West Washington Street from West Street to Schumacher Way; Schumacher Way from Washington to Maryland streets; and Maryland Street from Schumacher Way to West Street.
