NATIONWIDE — A nationwide recall for liquid infants’ ibuprofen has been extended, and has added three more lots of Ibuprofen Oral Suspension Drops, USP, 50 mg per 1.25 mL.
The medicine may contain higher amounts of ibuprofen than it should.
The infants’ ibuprofen is under the store brand names Equate, Family Wellness and CVS Health. It’s sold at Walmart, CVS and Family Dollar stores.
Be on the look out for expiration dates for August 2019. If you bought it from Walmart or CVS the expiration dates also include February. Walmart also has a recall for expiration dates in April, while CVS has a recall for expiration dates in December.
