SHELBY COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Two people were killed in an early-morning crash in Shelby County, according to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department.
The fatal crash happened in the area of State Road 9 and 425 North at approximately 5:15 a.m.
Deputies say the crash was a head-on collision between a pickup truck and an SUV.
Both people in the SUV were killed. They have been identified as 58-year-old Steven Conard and 39-year-old Steven Conard Jr., both of St. Paul, Indiana.
The crash is still under investigation.
