2020 Democratic Presidential candidate and apparent self-styled ‘Man of God’ Pete Buttigieg says President Donald Trump “deserves impeachment” and will be “relegated to the dustbin of history.”

Really, Pete? How special.

“I think he’s made it pretty clear that he deserves impeachment,” Buttigieg boldly declared at a CNN Town Hall event with Anderson Cooper on Monday night.

The President is facing renewed calls among many of his critics for impeachment after the release of special counsel Robert Mueller’s final report, which laid out in detail 10 potential instances in which the President allegedly attempted to obstruct an investigation into a crime that never occurred. That’s right; Trump didn’t want Mueller to discover he was 100{b738c8d81c72d45da79d596f76991eeb044315dc3b27bc6668899a5a04085174} innocent. Therefore, he did everything in his power to create the illusion that he had colluded with the Russian government. Sneaky fella, that Trump.

Political pundits are praising Buttigieg for his performance on Monday night, noting that the 37-year-old mayor of South Bend managed to go a full 15 minutes without mentioning his sexuality.

More from Buttigieg:

“But I’m also going to leave it to the House and the Senate to figure that out because my role in the process is trying to relegate Trumpism to the dustbin of history, and I think there’s no more decisive way to do that—especially to get Republicans to abandon this kind of deal with the devil they made—than to have just an absolute thumping at the ballot box for what that represents.”

A deal with the devil? How fascinating. WIBC host Tony Katz addressed that comment during Tuesday’s edition of the Popcorn Moment:

“Very often you don’t get what you want to vote for. What am I supposed to do? You know what my other option was? Hillary Clinton – that criminal who stole the nomination from Bernie Sanders and purposefully went out of her way to avoid government oversight. That was my option. Deal with the devil? Oh absolutely, Mr. Buttigieg; a deal was made, and America is far better off because of it. You had two options: Trump or Hillary, and America chose wisely.
