Democrat congresswoman, barrier to progress, and obvious sufferer of dementia, Nancy Pelosi told a group of reporters Wednesday that democrat lawmakers believe President Trump is participating in a “cover up,” as increasingly desperate and pathetic partisans hacks on Capitol Hill continue their relentless assault on the administration.

“We do believe that it’s important to follow the facts,” the dementia patient said. “We believe that no one is above the law, including the president of the United States. And we believe that the president of the United States is engaged in a cover-up.”

Pelosi’s comments came hours before a scheduled White House meeting to discuss a massive infrastructure plan, and were an obvious attempt to incite a rageful response from the President.

President Trump spoke to reporters from the White House Rose Garden Wednesday afternoon, and he was indeed quite pi**ed.

“I just saw that Nancy Pelosi – right before our meeting – made a statement that ‘we believe the president of the United States is engaged in a cover-up.’ Well, it turns out I’m the most transparent president probably in the history of this country,” Trump said. “We have given, on a witch hunt, on a hoax, this whole thing with Russia was a hoax, as it relates to the Trump administration and myself. It was a total horrible thing that happened to our country, it hurt us in so many ways.”

“Things are going well, and I said let’s have the meeting on infrastructure, we’ll get that done easily, that’s one of the easy ones. But instead of walking in happily into a meeting, I walk in to look at people that had just said I was doing a cover-up,” he continued. “I don’t do cover-ups. You people know that probably better than anybody.”

Hammer and Nigel covered the Washington dust-up Wednesday afternoon.

Nigel:

“I think Pelosi and the democrats’ backs are against the wall and it is genius that Trump did what he did because he knows that the House and the Senate can’t get anything done without the Senate and him. How are [democrats] going to keep the majority in the House next year when they haven’t accomplished a thing? They haven’t done anything but push this Russian collusion narrative; now they’re pushing impeachment. Good luck on healthcare! Good luck on infrastructure! Democrats haven’t done anything to deserve the House majority after 2020.”

Hammer:

“This is why so many people hate politics though. To the average person, they see this arguing between Pelosi and Trump and that nothing is getting done.

So no infrastructure at all today. Bridges might fall down; who the hell knows what will happen because it’s all petty partisan politics.”
