Let me dig in a little bit further into this Tyrese Halliburton post. Because to give his commentary on social media short shrift, I think it’s a very, very large mistake. His post is something else. Although I would tell you Tyrese, we, we don’t know each other. Never ever make the heart thing with your hands. Leave that to Caitlin Clark. The last thing you want is Gregg Doyel after you.
You know what I mean? You don’t want him after you. If you do the hard thing, he, he demands your fealty. Ohh, someone’s gonna say to me you can’t say that about Gregg Doyel. That’s just the start. What Tyrese Haliburton wrote is remarkably honest. And rather relatable. Of course, game seven NBA Finals tears the Achilles. We all saw it happen. ESPN despicably replayed it over and over again because they’re really an ugly outfit.
I don’t know why they do some of the things they do and there I didn’t. For me, I wasn’t a fan of their announcers. And I think that they’re, they’re halftime. Stephen A Smith, you, you, you explain it. I can’t. Maybe there was something really interesting there, but dear God, that was not, I don’t think anybody wanted that. They were very happy when halftime was over. There was no analysis in that halftime show. That brought any value at all. None whatsoever. An uninteresting group if I ever saw one. They may all be good on their own or in other places as this. Very bad. Not the story. The story is Tyrese Haliburton. Who has the surgery on the Achilles and writes:
To the Pacers. Just sign the check. Whatever the guy wants. That’s a Hoosier. Nothing else to say.
