NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — An 18-year-old from Noblesville is accused of crashing a stolen car into a pond while driving drunk.
Noblesville Police say Mason Battle stole a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu early Monday morning and crashed into a pond near the intersection of Chapel Park Drive West and Chapel Park Drive South.
Battle was found by police a short distance away from the pond.
He told officers that he lost control while driving on Chapel Park Drive South and ended up in the water.
Battle was arrested and is charged with car theft, operating while intoxicated, and illegal consumption.
