INDIANAPOLIS — A woman was killed and a man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash early this (Monday) morning in Indianapolis.
Indiana State Police say it happened on I-65 near Lafayette Road, when the man and woman were riding the motorcycle, and came upon slow traffic due to construction. The driver then went around construction barrels onto a closed portion of the interstate to pass traffic, hit uneven pavement, lost control, and struck a concrete wall.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was taken to Methodist Hospital in critical condition. Police say neither the man or woman were wearing a helmet.
