MCCORDSVILLE, Ind. — Human remains found earlier this year in Hancock County belong to a missing woman from McCordsville.

A mushroom hunter found the remains of 57-year-old Patricia Dipasquale near West County Road 900 North in late April. Dipasquale had been missing since January 2017, police said.

Dental records were used to identify the remains.

Investigators were unable to determine Dipasquale’s cause of death due to the extent of decomposition, but foul play is not suspected, according to WISH-TV.

Dipasquale’s death remains under investigation.
