LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Two people are dead after a shooting at a Lafayette gas station.
Just after 7 p.m. Sunday, the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office got a call for a shooting at the Family Express Station on Old Highway 25, just off I-65.
When officers arrived, one person was dead inside the gas station, and the gunman was outside near gas pumps.
Police tried to stop him, and shots were fired. The suspect was killed, but it’s not clear if the man shot himself or was shot by someone else.
Indiana State Police are now investigating the shooting.
