LAFAYETTE, Ind. — An Illinois man on a motorcycle could get more than just a speeding ticket.
State troopers say Taha Qameruddin of Woodridge, Illinois was flying southbound on I-65
near Lafayette Friday afternoon. He was clocked at 110 miles per hour.
He didn’t stop when troopers tried to pull him over. They chased him onto State Road 28 into Clinton County and that’s when he tried driving through a field along a county road, but he crashed.
Qameruddin was not seriously hurt in the crash.
He was arrested and booked for resisting law enforcement and reckless driving.
