INDIANAPOLIS – An Indianapolis man was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison Tuesday after pleading guilty to sexually exploiting a child.

According to court documents, in May 2021, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) told the FBI that an adult’s Facebook account had been used to inappropriately communicate with a child. The man was later identified as 39-year-old Ryan Niendorf, a semi-truck driver living in Indianapolis.

Officers reached out to the child  he was messaging and were able to arrest Niendorf based on what they found in his Facebook account. Further investigation showed that he persuaded two minors, both under the age of 16, to send sexually explicit videos.
