As inflation continues to go up daily, so does the number of lies from the Biden administration.
Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki about the administrations history of blaming others for price increases.
“…inflation goes up today. The President’s statement blames the “Putin price hike.” Are you guys just going to start blaming Putin for everything until the midterms?”
Psaki said that since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine gas has gone up 75 cents. Doocy followed up stating that before Russia the White House was blaming the pandemic for inflation, noting the “pass-the-blame” trend Biden seems to perpetuate. Psaki responded defensively.
“Well, Peter, last year — the last two years, there was a global pandemic. Everyone who’s — global economists have all agreed that that has been the biggest contributor to date of inflation because of the impact on the supply chain. Obviously, global events impact the economy, the global economy, as well as global inflation. And the price hikes, as a result, that have escalated over the course of time of President Putin’s further invasion of the impact on the global oil markets are of course having an impact.”
Again, Psaki points fingers in all directions but Biden’s.
Tony Katz believes they’ll continue to blame “Putin Spike” well into the midterms.
She doesn’t know how to answer the question because of course they are going to say this through the midterms…Annual inflation for the past 12 months, ending in February 2022, 7.8%. Up .8% from just last month; the highest number since January 1982. That is all Biden- not COVID, not Ukraine, but Biden.
Psaki admitted inflation will continue for the foreseeable future.
