INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Metro Police are investigating a woman’s death on the city’s near-east side.
Police were called just after 12 p.m. Sunday to 1029 N. Rural Street. Upon arrival, officers found an unresponsive woman. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Marion County Coroner’s Office conducted an autopsy and determined the woman died of at least one gunshot wound. Her death was ruled a homicide.
