KOKOMO, Ind. — A pilot only suffered minor injuries after his plane crashed in Howard County on Thursday.

The single-prop plane went down around 5 p.m., in a field near the Glenndale Airport, flipped, and landed upside down.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office says the pilot was able to get out of the plane himself, and was treated at the scene and released.

The FAA will be in Kokomo Friday to investigate why the plane crashed.
