INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana State Police arrested a Beech Grove man for a shooting that happened last week on I-465.
Darrell Middlebrook, 37, is accused of shooting at a semi on Sept. 21 as it drove northbound near Pendleton Pike.
During the investigation, police learned that Middlebrook and the driver of the semi, Robert Shaw, knew one another.
Shaw told police that Middlebrook had been calling him several times a day from various phone numbers and threatening to kill him, according to WISH-TV. Investigators don’t think the shooting was the result of road rage.
Shaw was not hurt in the shooting.
Middlebrook was arrested Wednesday for Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon and taken to the Marion County Jail.
