WHITESTOWN, Ind. — The Whitestown Parks and Recreation Department has a busy summer planned for residents and visitors!

The first farmer’s market will be held Thursday, June 3 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Main Street Park. It will continue weekly through Sept. 9. The market will offer fruits, vegetables, local honey, baked goods, smoked meats, wines, crafts, and more.

The free summer concert series begins Friday, June 4 in the Whitestown Municipal Complex front parking lot (6210 Veterans Drive) and continues every Friday through Aug. 6. Gates open at 6 p.m. and live music plays from 7 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Food and drinks will be for sale on-site.

The concert schedule is as follows:

  • Friday, June 11th – Stella Luna and The Satellites
  • Friday, June 18th – Runaway Gin
  • Friday, June 25th – The Doo! Band
  • Friday, July 2nd – Dude!
  • Friday, July 9th – Groove Smash
  • Friday, July 16th – Big Roscoe & The Hammers
  • Friday, July 23rd – Hyryder
  • Friday, July 30th – Toy Factory
  • Friday, August 6th – My Yellow Rickshaw

“We are excited to offer these events to our residents,” said Whitestown Parks Director Savannah Solgere. “Our team is working closely with the Boone County Health Department to implement any necessary safety measures to ensure that events are held safely.”
