WESTFIELD, Ind. — Meijer opened a new supercenter in Westfield on Thursday.

The 155,000 square-foot store in Hamilton County is Meijer’s 15th location in the Indianapolis metro area. Over the last five years, Meijer has built four stores and remodeled the 11 other stores in the area.

“This new store reinforces our ongoing commitment to serving the needs of Hamilton County at a time when everyone is looking for a one-stop shopping experience,” Meijer President & CEO Rick Keys said.

Features of the new Westfield store include:

  • Full-service meat department
  • General Merchandise area
  • Pet Department that offers 200 pet toys, 500 varieties of treats for dogs and cats, and premium foods
  • Pharmacy
  • Shop & Scan, which allows shoppers to scan barcodes via a mobile app and bag their items as they shop

Meijer continues to require face coverings to be worn by everyone entering a Meijer store or Meijer Express station except where medical conditions prevent them from wearing one.
