PRINCETON, Ind. — Nearly 1400 new jobs are coming to Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana by the end of 2023.

The manufacturing plant is in Princeton.

Leah Curry, president of TMMI, says they will be investing more than 800 million dollars.

“So, with this new investment in our plant and our people we will be adding two, all new, yet to be named, three row SUV’s to the current line-up of vehicles already assembled right here in the Hoosier heartland.”

TMMI, currently employs more than 7,000 Hoosiers in southwest Indiana, and has already begun filling production jobs.

“Toyota has been an incredible partner to the state of Indiana for nearly 25 years, and we’re thrilled to continue that partnership in order to drive our economy forward,” said Gov. Holcomb. “Indiana is proud to be home to the highest concentration of manufacturing jobs in the nation, while providing a skilled workforce that is contributing to the success of companies across a variety of industries.”
