VIGO COUNTY, Ind. — The suspect in a Christmas murder is finally behind bars.
Philip Atterson turned himself in to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office Monday night. He was transferred to the sheriff’s office in Vigo County, where he was wanted by police in connection to the murder of Sarah Henderson.
Police found Henderson dead in a storage unit on Christmas Day. Police believe the two may have been living together inside the storage unit, but that hasn’t been confirmed.
Atterson is now being held in the Vigo County Jail.
