For months, Sanders has consistently built support and has now won the popular vote in the first 3 presidential primaries. Only now have the rest of the Democratic Party stared to notice and have begun to panic. The Democrat establishment is terrified of seeing Bernie Sanders as the nominee, but as Tony tells Leland, this is the path they led themselves down.
“You watch the Democrats up in arms saying that ‘we can’t have a socialist candidate. We can’t allow this to happen to the Democrat party.’ He is the Democrat party. Everything he believes is now Democrat party mantra. He set the stage in 2016. Everyone complaining about Bernie Sanders needs to take a look in the mirror. You all want medicare for all. You all want the 99% vs the 1%. That’s Bernie Sanders.”
