Only Ryan Mears Thinks Ryan Mears Is Doing A Good Job. Governor Mike Braun says if the capital city fails to bring down the violence the state will.

Rick Snyder, he is the president of the Indianapolis Fraternal Order of Police… discussing the violence issues in Indianapolis, holding the press conference, saying we don’t need as much discussion about a special policing district, but perhaps we need more discussion about a special prosecuting district that would allow the state to intervene and to have robust prosecutions at least in a set area as it relates to our capital city.

Only Ryan Mears thinks Ryan Mears is doing a good job. Everybody else understands that the Democrat who is the Marion County prosecutor, Ryan Mears, is doing a poor job. Hard to blame police sometimes when the prosecution doesn’t take place for the crime that is committed. The unwillingness. Unwillingness to do so. So, Snyder is making an argument. How about a special prosecution district? This on the heels of Governor Mike Braun saying Indianapolis has got to get itself together, otherwise the state’s going to come in.

Last time the state discussed this, there was this, this letter from all the civic leaders saying you stay out of the way. Indianapolis, state of Indiana. Who do you think you are? All those civic leaders were wrong. The civic leaders should have been saying we don’t need the state’s intervention, but the city has to do better, and we demand it. But the civic leaders don’t do that. Names high on the buildings and they don’t speak out about anything. Now some can call it cowardice. Some could call it a lack of caring. But when you only sign a letter and you only speak out when the state says we can’t have this, we have to do something about this, that says a lot about where your priorities are and where your focus is. As long as you can get a D from the city, you don’t care. You’re gonna get the deals anyway. Stand up for the city. Do better for the city.
