FedEx Worker Dies In Accident At Indianapolis International Airport
INDIANAPOLIS — A FedEx worker died Thursday night in an accident at Indianapolis International Airport, authorities said Friday night.
The Indiana Department of Labor on Friday was at the airport to investigate the death, but no details were made available from the state agency through a spokesperson. The department was expected to prepare a report on its investigation, which would be made available to the public in about a month.
FedEx declined to provide details of what happened, but issued a statement:
“No words can convey the grief we all feel over the loss our team member, and our prayers and deepest condolences are extended to his family. We are cooperating with authorities investigating the accident.”
