Certain Cans of Hunt’s Tomato Paste Recalled Due to Mold
STATEWIDE — A new food recall could include one of the items in your pantry.
Conagra Brands says it has received several complaints about mold in certain six-ounce cans of Hunt’s Tomato Paste No Salt-Added.
As a result, the tomato paste is being recalled by the FDA.
The cans have a best-by date of October 16, 2020. The best-by date should be printed on the can or the paper label.
Conagra said the cans might have been damaged after canning, creating the potential for mold to form.
If you own the tomato paste, you should throw it away or return it to the store.
Conagra says no other Hunt’s products are affected by the recall.
