Crawfordsville Woman, Seven-Month-Old Son Missing

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind.– Police are trying to find a missing Crawfordsville mother and her seven-month-old son.
28-year-old Lindsey Cox was reported missing on December 2nd by her family. Police think both she and her son are with her boyfriend John Byrer.
Crawfordsville police say they were able to contact Cox by phone on December 2nd and removed them from the missing person database, but added them on December 7th when relatives again expressed worries about them.
Police say they believe they have left the state and say Cox has been in contact with officers several times.
The Crawfordsville Police Department is coordinating and communicating with other jurisdictions as new information becomes available.
