John Kerry Is No Fan Of The 1st Amendment
John Kerry, former U.S. Secretary of State and long-time senator from Massachusetts, has often been characterized as a globalist. His approach to foreign policy reflects a commitment to international cooperation, multilateralism, and the belief that global challenges require collective solutions. This perspective shapes his vision for a more interconnected world, emphasizing the importance of diplomacy in addressing pressing issues.
Kerry, however, is no fan of the 1st Amendment when it gets in the way of his globalist initiatives. Listen to Tony’s take on Kerry’s latest harangue about his free speech complaint to the World Economic Forum.
John Kerry is a former Secretary of State. Some people very, very horribly. We’re used to refer to him as Lurch from “The Addams Family” that I always thought that was very, very rude. Or maybe it was Herman Munster. He was a very square kind of face. And honestly, I don’t think we should be focused on what people look like. I think we should be focused on what people say and when I focus on what he says. My goodness, the words are far more unkind than Lurch. This was at a World Economic Forum event where John Kerry is talking about social media and the problems they’re in.
I think social media, we could be clear, has been a for a lot of things, a negative force. These keyboard warriors, they’ll scream at you. Well, docs you and they’ll name call you and people get really affected by it and it’s understandable. You have to learn how to block it out of your life and throw it away and move on. What, what do they matter? Some stranger in their basement saying something could be determining my life or my life could be determining my life. I mean pick 1 so we could agree with this part. He gives a very interesting, uh, story here. That the idea that it makes it hard to govern, that you don’t have the referees. Well, you mean we’ve had people saying what you can and can’t say, what you can and can’t share. There wasn’t an enable, an ability to effectively communicate like there is today, and therefore that’s the problem. Well, he’s saying yes because he’s been doing this for 45 to 50 years and he considers himself the guardrail, the arbiter himself. So much of where the anger and angst comes from is from the people who are no longer the people in charge. And then he goes about proving what I just said.
John Kerry:
Our First Amendment stands as a major block to the ability to be able to just, you know, hammer it out of existence so.
The First Amendment is a block from them, the people who consider themselves the guardrails, being able to utilize force to get you to stop talking. I wouldn’t vote for anybody who had any connection to anything like this. Never, never. Never. Never. Ever. But this is what happens, you know, when people talk about globalists. That’s not conspiratorial. This is where they’re at. The 1st Amendment stands the major block to the ability to be able to just hammer it out of existence. How much closer could you be to George Orwell?
The future is a boot stamping on a human face for the rest of history. Paraphrasing, but you’re with me. And his answer is actually the boot which you need. What we need is to is to win the ground, win the right to govern by hopefully having, you know, winning enough votes that you’re free to be able to implement change. Now obviously there are some people in our country who are prepared to implement change in other ways. Well, that’s not ominous. This. When we discuss the idea of differences in political parties, this is a difference. Conservatives don’t think this way, don’t act this way, should never, should never. This is a real concern of mine with this election, that this is the push, that this is the desire, that this constant attack on the Supreme Court and that the desire is to curtail Americans. In their thought and in their ability to express. There’s more to this election than just the economy. Or some conversation of foreign policy. Our biggest issue, in my view, is domestic.
