Open Since 1953, Bloomington’s Cafe Pizzaria Announces Closing

Bloomington, Ind. — Since 1953, Cafe Pizzaria has given Bloomington residents and visitors quality pizza and its famous stromboli. But per an announcement on Facebook Wednesday morning, the long running pizza parlor at the corner of Kirkwood and Grant will be closing immediately:

Dear Bloomington,

We have decided it time for us to retire and have more time to focus on family.

Thanks to all our loyal customers over the past 70 years!

We would especially like to thank all our employees. You have been exceptional and we love each and every one of you.
