One Dead in East Side Car Crash in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — Police say officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are responding to a crash on the east side that left a person dead on Saturday.

According to the police, officers were called to the intersection of Massachusetts Ave and E 30th Street around 11:20 a.m. for a crash. When they arrived, they confirmed that at least one person had died.

The Indianapolis Fire Department confirmed that this incident is unrelated to an overturned fire truck crash.
