The View Host, Sunny Hostin Dubs Gov. of Flordia “DeathSantis” For Handling COVID “Miserably”
“The View” co-anchor, Sunny Hostin, calls Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis a “fascist.”
During Tuesday’s episode, the ladies were discussing prospective 2024 presidential candidates when Hostin kept referring to DeSantis as “DeathSantis.”
Hostin: “I hope it is not DeathSantis.”
Sara Haines: “I think it’ll be DeSantis.”
Hostin: “I hope it is not DeathSantis over in Florida. Because I think he’s a fascist.”
Joy Behar: “Why do you call him DeathSantis?”
Hostin: “DeathSantis. I think — I think he handled Covid miserably. I think he’s a fascist and a bigot.”
Hostin says her dream ticket would be VP Kamala Harris and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. She says the duo would “obliterate Trump of DeathSantis.”
