EVANSVILLE, Ind. — An Evansville pool will be closed over the weekend as it is being cleaned out from vandalism from Thursday evening.

Evansville Department of Parks and Recreation has posted on social media Friday, saying it happened at Lorraine Pool on Adams Avenue.

The department says there were several items thrown in the pool, including folding chairs and loungers.

This is the fourth time this week that at least one person climbed the fence around the pool and throw items into there while it was closed.

The department says if you are wanting to swim over the weekend, you can check out their other pools, such as Red Mosby at Howell Park on South Barker Avenue or Rochelle Pool on Lincoln Avenue in Evansville.

Evansville officers are investigating this.
