A Person is Shot and Killed in Plainfield
PLAINFIELD, Ind. — A person was shot and killed Friday afternoon at the Echo Park, near the Perry Crossing apartment complex, in Plainfield.
Officers with the Plainfield Police Department arrived on Creekhollow Road, near Pine Crest Drive, after 3:30 p.m. The person died at the scene, and they took a person of interest into custody.
Officers are investigating the cause of the shooting and determining if others were involved, but they say there are no ongoing threats to the community.
