Plane Carrying 242 People Crashes In India

(Ahmedabad, India)  —  There’s still no word on fatalities after a passenger plane carrying more than 200 people crashed today in western India. 

The Air India flight, a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner bound for London, crashed as it was taking off from the Ahmedabad airport. 

Video shows the plane dropping near the airport before smoke and flames rose.  The flight reportedly had 242 people onboard.
