Man Gets 40 Years for Dealing Cocaine, Meth in Southern Indiana
MADISON Ind. — A southern Indiana man has been sentenced to multiple decades in prison for dealing in meth and cocaine.
Christopher Dorten, 48, was convicted of 14 felonies relating to dealing drugs. He received 40 years in prison after being sentenced earlier this week.
Dorten was among 25 people arrested as part of a major drug bust in Kentucky and Indiana last year known as “Operation Iceberg.”
Jefferson County Prosecutor David Sutter said the investigation into the area drug dealing began in February of 2024. Investigators learned that Dorten was a major supplier of meth in the county and would make numerous trips to Louisville to get the drugs.
More suspects involved in the drug operation remain in custody and having pending charges. Several others have already been sentenced.
