At Least One Killed in Northwest Indianapolis Crash

INDIANAPOLIS — One person was killed in a crash on the city’s northwest side Thursday afternoon, say Indianapolis police.

The accident happened around 12:45 p.m. at the intersection of West 64th Street and Michigan Road.

Police reports indicate the incident involved a motorcycle, and firefighters were dispatched to the scene for a personal injury accident.

It is unclear how many vehicles were involved or if there were other injuries. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department’s Fatal Crash Team is investigating the incident.
