AUDIO: Indiana Pacers Take 2-0 Series Lead Over Milwaukee
INDIANAPOLIS—The Indiana Pacers led from start-to-finish and took a 2-0 lead in their first round NBA Playoff series against the Milwaukee Bucks with a 123-115 victory Tuesday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The Pacers led by as many as 16. The Bucks cut the lead down to 2 at 115-113 with a three by Damian Lillard with 2:33 left in the fourth quarter, but the Pacers would go on a 6-0 run to ice the game.
Six players finished in double figures for Indiana. They were led by Pascal Siakam who had 24 points and 11 rebounds. Tyrese Haliburton ended up with 21 points, 12 assists, and five rebounds for Indiana.
Giannis Antetokounmpo (34) and Bobby Portis (28) had 62 of Milwaukee’s 115. Giannis also had 18 rebounds while Portis had 12 boards.
Indiana had 8 turnovers while Milwaukee had 15.
Games 3 and 4 are in Milwaukee with Game 3 coming up Friday night.
