Micah Beckwith Trolls “Investigative Journalists”

Cargate is the scandal of the year here in Indiana, and the local media is on the case. Republicans Diego Morales and Micah Beckwith are milking the taxpayers with their sweet rides. At least that’s what the press wants you to believe. When Micah Beckwith suggested that he trade in his $88k SUV for a Tesla Cyber Truck, Democrat Mitch Gore had this response:

Gore through a soft ball down the middle that had to be hit, and Micah Beckwith did so. Local journalists were waiting to jump on this. Little did they know they were being trolled. The Lieutenant Governor joined Tony Kinnett to talk about Cargate.
I do enjoy watching certain outlets who claim to be these unbiased wonderful just, you know, keeping government accountable man style sites choose certain things to cover. And certain things not to cover and make the case while I’m, you know, we’re not biased over here. And then they, they cover the weirdest scandals I think I’ve ever seen. And one of the latest scandals from the Indiana Capital Chronicle, which is funded by a left-leaning Swiss billionaire, made the decision to post. A picture of a Tesla cyber truck with a white paint job in the Lieutenant governors parking spot in Indianapolis.

The scandal, she says this Tesla cyber truck is now in Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith’s Statehouse spot. “We are seeking answers.” Well, we got Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith on. So how does it feel to be a part of an auto scandal?
Micah Beckwith:
Well, I mean, I feel honored. I think it’s a Tesla. I wanted to show our support to President Trump and Elon Musk. The state of Indiana stands with them. We appreciate everything they’re doing with DOGE, and you know, I, we just had this weekend where all these protesters were calling Trump a Nazi and calling Elon Musk Hitler.

And so, I just said, you know, we’re going to, we’re going to show some support to, to Elon and just park a Tesla Cyber Truck in the Lieutenant governor’s spot. It was it was an amazing car and that car is awesome.
No, no, hang on a second here. I heard you use the word was because all of the scandal in this particular story is that you have enriched yourself by buying an $88,000 luxury vehicle on the taxpayer dime. How could you? Ohh, the the horror. And that’s what people were. “You know that the Lieutenant governor of Indiana makes $116,000 a year. Before taking that office, Mr. Beckwith was a pastor. Aren’t you a little curious how he can afford one of those dumb cyber trucks?” You’re talking about it like it was. Do you not own one of these Tesla cyber trucks?
Micah Beckwith:
Breaking news on the Tony Kinnett cast. I do not own a cyber truck, although I would love to someday, but I do not own one. It was a friend of a friend’s and it is no longer in my possession.
