Are Speed Cameras For Safety Or Making Money?
There is a story out of Georgia. Regarding speed cameras, which are a real issue, the idea that we’re being watched all the time.

The idea that I, I think an argument of whether or not you can even confront your accuser in that way. They put speed cameras school zones. Speed cameras in Macon, Bibb County. Back in 2022 and they have made $9 million from the citations. The private company that installed them has made two and a half million. Drivers have paid 11.7 million in fines due to school zone cameras. So, the question before us is. Are you telling me? That the people who drive in this county are such awful, terrible drivers that they’re speeding through school zones, not doing things properly in school zones, to the tune of $11 million, nearly 12 million bucks. Or. Are citations sent out that aren’t really citations? But the odds are that most people be like alright I’ll pay it because I just don’t have the time, it’s too much of a hassle. It’s a worthy question. It’s a very interesting piece:

Are these things about our safety or is it about just bringing in some good cash so they can keep us safe or something?
