STATEWIDE — You may expect pleasant weather throughout this week with lots of sunshine and warmer temperatures.
That includes temperatures in the 60’s on Monday. Michael Koch, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Indianapolis, says that it may even get warmer later in the week.
“By Thursday, expect 74 degrees and 77 degrees on Friday, so there is definitely some nice outdoor weather coming up,” Koch says.
Koch says expect severe conditions heading into the weekend, even with high wind gusts.
“Especially Friday night into Saturday, where we could see gusts to possibly 45 miles an hour,” Koch says.
“It’s not going to be quite as warm on Saturday, where it will be 68 degrees, but by Sunday, there may only be a high in the 50’s, and it may even be colder next week,” Koch says.
Koch says expect not only high wind gusts to occur in central Indiana.
“Expect a lot of rain, thunderstorms, and possible some severe storms, especially the further west one goes in central Indiana,” Koch says.
