Four Dogs Die in Indianapolis House Fire

INDIANAPOLIS — Investigators have started looking into a house fire that killed four dogs on the near west side of Indianapolis Wednesday night.
Firefighters from the Indianapolis Fire Department rushed to a house fire on W. New York Street, near North Belmont Avenue, around 5:46 p.m. When they arrived, they found smoke and flames coming from the home.
The IFD confirmed that no people were inside the home when they reported the fire. Unfortunately, Indianapolis Emergency Medical Personnel could not revive the dogs.
