Going from Biden to Trump is like going from night to day. The previous administration touted how “transparent” they were.

Yet in the short time that Trump has been in office, he’s been extremely open to the media, even taking random questions from the press while signing executive orders.

Reagan Reese from The Daily Caller joins The Tony Kinnett Cast from Washington DC with a few of her thoughts on her recent questions to President Trump from the White House press pool, and how the relationship between the White House and the press has changed in just a few days.

Reagan Reese:

Well, couple of just not even 12 hours, couple hours when he was in the Oval Office signing executive orders and reporters were just kind of yelling things at him and he was stopped and looked up and answered

Tony Kinnett:

But occasionally he would stop and he would consider the question and answer it and like, not scripted with no assistance.

Reagan Reese:

It’s that back and forth that is really healthy for America and I think it humanizes the president, and it is definitely something we didn’t see at all during the Biden administration. Having a president that wants to engage in back and forth for an hour is really interesting. But I think with the mood around the White House, it is energetic, it is busy, it is packed.
