Donald Trump Moving The Overton Window
Hot Air‘s Ed Morrissey joins Tony Katz Today what Trump has done so far in only a few days. The left over the years have been moving Overton window to the point where those who object to boys in girls’ bathrooms are considered “extreme”. Donald Trump has come in with his executive orders to change the narrative and to bring the Overton window back to the center-right, where most Americans are.
I think that by and large, the American public has had it with, you know, government enforced Overton windows. The Overton window is really more of a social construct… He’s kind of blown that up, but I think he succeeded because everyone else was sick and tired of the Overton window being stuck there.
