4-Year-Old Shot by 9-Year-Old in Muncie

MUNCIE, Ind. — A four-year-old boy in Muncie was shot by his sibling inside his home Saturday after 8 p.m.  

The four-year-old’s sibling, who was nine years old, found a gun inside a home in the 2100 block of North Milton Street, and police say he accidentally opened fire.

The four-year-old was taken to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, and then he was transferred to Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. Authorities said Sunday he is stable.
